Karigon is one of four K-5 elementary schools located on the main campus. It is connected to Orenda Elementary School sharing a cafeteria/auditorium. It opened in 1968.

On March 7th and 8th, the Karigon PTA Musical Company performed Annie KIDS with two full casts made up of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Congratulations to all of the performers and to all of the Karigon staff and PTA parents who made these shows possible. Odyssey of the MindWe are so proud of the Odyssey of the Mind teams that represented Karigon at the Regional tournament this past weekend! You could see how excited the Pet Project students were when they rushed to Mr. Wing with the trophy! A special thank you to the head coach, Yvette Fitzgerald and Cay Hanley. Now these students will to start to prepare for the State tournament which is Saturday, March 23rd in Binghamton, NY.

Siena Essay WinnerEliana Moyer a 5th grade student in Mrs. Palmieri's class, was chosen as the 5th grade winner of the Siena Essay Contest. She wrote her essay about Deanna Rivers. Eliana was honored at a Siena Women's Basketball game this past Sunday; which was televised. Additionally, Elaina's essay was published in the program as well as displayed at the game. Congratulations!

Mrs. Palmieri’s 5th graders are involved students and clear communicators who demonstrate the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to contribute positively to their community. The class created diverse holiday cards to be distributed at a local nursing home.
