Over 170 Okte students read for a minimum of 15 minutes every night for 3 straight weeks as part of Parents as Reading Partners (PARP).

Congratulations to Hanna Compa, Emma Aluck, Matt Colletti, and Kevin Maney – Okte’s Fire Prevention Poster contest winners!
Okte's Annual Monster Mash was the place to be on Friday! Children were given a passport to collect stamps through fun activities such as decorating a cookie or creating a pumpkin out of a plate. After collecting all of the stamps, a walk through the "hallway of horror" to the trick or treat trail resulted in a goody bag (complete with a toothbrush) to wind down the fun evening! Great job PTA!!
Okte was very fortunate to be part of the Ride for Missing Children event! Over 50 bicyclists rode for 100 miles throughout Albany and Saratoga counties to raise awareness and to promote personal safety tips with our students!
An Okte team of teachers, staff and families participated in the Autism Walk! It was a great event to raise awareness and to support our children with autism!
Okte students were excited to return to school! Okte welcomed 50 new families this year.
