Located in the central part of the district, Shatekon Elementary School is attached to Arongen Elementary and is one of four off-campus schools. It opened in 2007.

All Shatekon students entering grades K-5 are encouraged to participate in our summer reading program. Students who complete their summer reading will have their name written on a sea creature in our Shatekon Aquarium. 9/10/10 - Superintendent's Conference Day, school is not in session for students.
