Tesago Elementary School building

Tesago is one of four elementary schools located on the main campus. It is connected to Skano Elementary School sharing a cafeteria/auditorium. It opened in 1966-67.

The Tesago 4th and 5th Grade Chorus (directed by Michael Lotano) participated in NYSSMA Majors at Bethlehem High School and were awarded a GOLD rating! A GOLD rating is awarded to ensembles who “demonstrate an outstanding level of technical and artistic skill in several evaluative categories, such as tone, intonation, balance, diction and interpretation.” This is the first year that Tesago has participated in this Festival and we are very proud of our singers’ hard work and talent!

The Tesago Select Chorus had the honor of singing the national anthem in front of 3,722 fans at an Albany Devils game at the Times Union Center. The kids, who sing under the direction of teacher Michael Lotano, must have brought the home team good luck, as the Devils edged the competition 4-1.
