The Ambassadors Select Singers

The Ambassadors are a group of auditioned 6th, 7th or 8th grade singers who are also in an Acadia, a Gowana, or a Koda performing group (chorus, orchestra, or band). Rehearsals are held in room 918 on Tuesdays after school from 3:40-4:10 pm and on Thursdays before school from 8:00-8:40 am. The Ambassadors have performed at the fountain area of Lincoln Center on several occasions , the 4th of July Celebration at Clifton Commons, Clifton Park Center Mall, Albany State Plaza for Music In Our Schools Month Celebration, The Albany River Rats Hockey Game at the Pepsi Arena, area nursing homes, and for Senior Citizens groups. In addition, the Ambassadors have sung with the national group, America Sings, opening for NBC at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2003.
