musical activities at the middle school level which include 6th
general music, Acadia 7th grade chorus, Koda 7th grade chorus, &
Gowana 7th grade chorus and The Ambassadors
Select Singers.
Eve Kenyon has been teaching music at
Shenendehowa CSD since 1993 and has been at Acadia since its opening in
1994. She was born and raised in Long Beach, Mississippi and graduated
magna cum laude from Delta State University with a Bachelors of Music
Education with piano and voice emphasis. She completed her
graduate work through SUNY Potsdam which included performing many times in
the Saratoga-Potsdam Chorus with the Philadelphia Orchestra at Saratoga
Performing Arts Center. She is member of the American Choral
Directors' Association and National Association for Music Education as well as
the New York State School Music Association. She is the founder of the
Ambassador Select Singers who have performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day
Parade in 1999, 2000, 2001, & 2003 and travels annually to perform at the
outdoor venue of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. In addition,
she has directed the combined church choirs of Ballston Spa for the annual
Christmas event in December since 2004.
