            Just a reminder to send in your PTA Membership forms! Our PTA is very generous and provides funding for our field trips, museum visits and many special programs throughout the year.

        

 

         

                                                                            

READING AND LANGUAGE ARTS

Please write one each of the following types of sentences on the back of the spelling homework.

Command : Tells someone to do something.   Go to the store.

Statement:   Just a regular telling sentence.    The boy ran to the bus.   

Question:    Asks someone something.       Who is the line leader today?  

Exclamation  :    Shows excitement.       It's snowing!

   We will finish Chapter 15, Multiplication.

Please practice addition and subtraction facts for 5 minutes daily.        

 

                                                

  MATH HOMEWORK

          

 

 Every Tuesday and Wednesday night, beginning on September 20, we will have math homework to be returned the following day. The worksheet or activity should not take more than 15 minutes. If it does, please write a note on the homework and return. PLEASE check over the homework after your child completes it. Circle incorrect problems and see if your child can find their mistake and correct it.
