1.0 FTE LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST
HIGH SCHOOL
INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS
should submit letter
of interest and application, resume, college transcripts (undergraduate
and graduate), confidential folder from college placement office which
must include at least three (3) letters of reference OR three (3)
recent professional letters of recommendation and copy of teaching
certificate OR letter from college stating all requirements for
certification have been met.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST
POSSESS...
- New York State teaching certification or must be
able to meet the qualifications for certification by the New York
State Education Department in the teaching area of their interest
- An
educational
degree
from
a
college
program
that
is
widely
recognized
and
accepted
as
a
post-secondary
leader
in
the
specialized
area
in
which
the
candidate
is
seeking
employment
with
the
district.
- Appropriate
student
teaching
and/or
actual
teaching
experience
in
the
specific
content/grade
level
of
interest
to
the
candidate.
- Written recommendations
reflecting
a
sound
working
relationship
with
students
in
the
content/grade
level
of
interest
to
the
candidate
- A
unique
talent
or
skill
that
they
could
bring
into
the
educational
setting
