Welcome to Mrs. Scavo's Regents
Earth Science Website. This site is designed to keep both students and parents
up to date on what we are studying. Lecture topics, labs, worksheets,
handouts and homework assignments will be listed on a daily basis. Dates
for testing will also be posted. Mrs. Scavo reserves the right to make last
minute adjustments based on unforeseen issues that may arise. Please remember

Extra help by the Diva: period 1, period 6B and period 9A. The Shen West Earth Science Teachers by appointment through YOUR Science Teacher, during school hours and before school, is posted in room 39A.
Free tutoring is offered every Tuesday and Thursday night at HS East, in Room 101 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM.. The tutoring is done by adult volunteers, in Math and Science.
Free tutoring is also offered every Tuesday and Thursday at the High School East Library, from 2:50 to 3:50. This tutoring is done by the National Honor Society. Students can also sign up for one to one tutoring in the Counseling Office.
Homework Club is also offered in the West Cafeteria right after school on Tuesday & Thursday. All are welcome, the late buses are available at 3:55 for transport home.
The Diva is available most Tuesday's and Thursday's after school in Room 39A, for any 9th grade student wishing to work on homework or labs. Please come directly after 9th period.
Having your notebook and textbook at home is very helpful when you are absent. If you are going to be absent for more then two days, the CAP's office can have them ready to be picked up, with a phone call. Checking the website for homework that can be completed before you return is an awesome idea.
