On Friday, May 10th, Paul Minor, a story teller,
came to Karigon to share stories about his pig, Daisy. We met Daisy
and got to pet her.

On Monday, April 29th,
Scotia-Glenville Traveling Museum
presented "OCEANS IN MOTION" to our class.

We had fun! Thank you PTA!

On Friday, April 12th, "THE BEACH" came to Room 9.
We wore our "beach clothes", did our activities on
our "beach"
towels and shaded our eyes from the sun with our
sunglasses and visors.
What a fun
day!!

Penguins on Parade
After learning about Penguins, we worked in teams and
built life-sized penguins. We also wrote and typed our own penguin
reports.

Mrs. Greco came to talk to us about how to formulate
ideas and write a book. She gave us "author necklaces". We had
lots of fun! Thank

Members of the Siena Saints Men's and Women's Basketball
Teams came to work with us and teach us about sportsmanship and teamwork.
We learned a lot, had a lot of fun and got some exercise,
too!

When we came back to school
in January, our teddy bears came with us.
They read with us, write
with us and practice math with us. We love our bears!
During Morning Program,

the children presented how the holidays are celebrated in
Mexico, and then, how each of them celebrates winter holidays with their own
families.
