Our 20th annual Shenendehowa Jazz Festival is on Thursday, April 18 at 6:30pm in the HSE Auditorium and will feature all Middle and High School Jazz groups performing alongside world renowned saxophonist, Dr. Jimmy Greene! We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the Shen colorguard Varsity and JV teams who traveled to a regional competition in Salem, MA and placed 1st in their respective divisions.
Students at HSE had unique, cultural experience by attending a performance by Saakumu Dance Troupe! Based out of Medie, Ghana, the troupe is dedicated to introducing audiences to traditional and contemporary West African dance and music.
The Shen High School Art Club has been working on a fundraiser for the Saratoga County Animal shelter called the “Poorly Drawn Pet Portraits Project.” Fundraiser is open until March 1(click for more).
Our Girls Varsity Nordic Team won their second consecutive Section 2 Title. Raquelle Landa won her second consecutive Section 2 Girls Nordic Skiing Individual Championship.
Congratulations to the Shen Alpine girls’ team who won sectionals for the third year in a row. They will be defending their State’s Championship title at Whiteface! Good luck Girls!
Mrs Hou’s Chinese Club and Chinese classes learned about Chinese New Year. They made dumplings from scratch.

Shenendehowa High School is comprised of two buildings: East and West. Both are located on the main campus of Shenendehowa. Students in grades 10-12 attend the East Building and students in grade 9 attend the West Building.

In accordance with the Profile of a Shenendehowa Graduate, the high school community will pursue the highest levels of academic and personal achievement, as well as civic responsibility, cultural awareness and character development.
