2/8/22 – Why would the junior prom be planned for the same day as the SAT? Poor planning and this date should be reevaluated. – Parent

A. There are numerous reasons…Proms are planned 12-18 months ahead of time. It is similar to the process of planning a large wedding. The venue has to be available and not have other events booked. The High School tries not to have it too close to the senior prom.  Any earlier runs into Spring Break or potential for poor weather. Students also see it as a culminating event and would not want it too early in the spring.
