Amazing Holiday Tri-building 6th and 7th grade chorale concerts.
There’s a new club at Gowana this year that students named the Animal Importance Club. They collect items for local animal shelters, make cat beds for shelter cats, and will be making dog rope toys, snuffle mats, adoption posters, decorating cat shoe boxes, and making ‘adopt me’ bandanas for dogs.

Students in Mr. Antonacci’s General Music 7 classes learn about music and sound in film. Students chose film trailers and then recreated the dialogue through Automated Dialog Replacement, sound effects using Foley sound, and created music to match the moods of their scenes.
Shen teams performed incredibly at the Hudson Valley Youth Robotics Shenedehowa FIRST Lego League Challenge qualifier. Master Eugene from Risen TaeKwonDo came to Karigon this week and taught some Tae Kwon Do moves to our physical education classes. Mrs. Jewett’s Kindergarten class had a kick practicing their skills!
Mr. Soldani and some of Karigon’s 5th Grade students delighted the main office staff with their beautiful rendition of “Jingle Bells.” What a wonderful treat!
Mrs. Rupert’s kindergarten class and Mr. Hubert’s 5th grade class get together and share books with one another- they call it Book Buddies.
