Shatekon 2nd graders in Mrs. Hubbard’s class made Thanksgiving placemats that described everything that they were thankful for.
Acadia 7th grade students in Ms. Bouchard’s FACS classes used their sewing machine skills to make a positive impact in local organizations and nonprofits. 85 Bonding Hearts will be donated to local NICUs, 19 Port Pillows in memory of Acadia’s custodian, Linda Vandenburgh, will be donated to NYOH, and 18 pet beds will be donated to H.O.P.E.
The students of Orenda were given the opportunity to name our new mascot! The eagle now has a name and home – Please welcome – Sunny the Orenda Eagle!
Seven business students attended The Ultimate DECA Power Trip in Austin, TX. The leadership conference reinforces 21st Century Skills while providing students with engaging workshops featuring dynamic professionals, a competitive excellence experience, learning and leadership labs, and college and career exhibits.
