The Shenendehowa Middle Schools Latin teachers, Ms. Griswold and Mr. Breitweiser, are proud to announce the 2023 National Latin Examination award recipients. The state Department of Education teamed up with the company Suntex International and its First in Math program to launch New York’s first Statewide Mathematics Championship.

The National Art Honor Society has partnered with Bensons pet Store to create dog portraits for dogs in foster care. Through a grant Mr. Week’s 3rd grade class at Orenda has been working with DEC and a program called “Trout Unlimited” to promote stream restoration in our community. They raise brook trout from the egg stage, and then release them in the spring at a permitted location.
High School students attended a 2-day job shadowing experience at Global Foundries.
