A. HSE has breakfast open from 7:15 till 8:15 on the North serving side which is the serving line closest to the front of the school.

1/14/22 – When will a decision be announced regarding March’s Superintendent’s Conference Day? – Employee
A. Superintendent’s Conference Day is set for Friday, March 11 and will be in-person along with some hybrid/virtual spaces due to space capacity and social distancing. More information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.
12/22/21 – Why has Grammarly been disabled on the school Chromebooks? – Student
A. The free version does not adhere to NY Education Law 2D requirements and therefore we are no longer allowed ot us it.
12/10/21 – Has Shen ever thought about using other vendors to sell their athletic apparel other than WickedSmart? The things they sell (that being mostly hoodies and uniforms) are unreasonably expensive, not the mention the very long delivery times and high shipping prices. – Parent
A. Yes, Shenendehowa works with a number of local businesses who sign a licensing agreement to sell Shen merchandise. They are part of the Shen Shops and can be found here: https://www.shenet.org/shen-shops/.
12/10/21 – Would it be possible to share on Facebook the monthly menus?
A. That is a great suggestion. We will be sure to post the monthly menus on the Shenendehowa CSD Facebook page beginning in January.
12/6/21 – How would I be able to see and interact with the therapy dogs at High School East? I see them often but I never see them in use. – Student
A. The dogs typically stay with the staff member they belong to. Therefore, they end up interacting with students that have that staff member for class. Should you want to interact with therapy dogs, the Student Center has two that are available to everyone.
11/30/21 – Where should I park when picking up my child at HSW between 2:30-2:40pm? – Parent
A. Being that HSW dismissal is at 2:35pm, if a parent/guardian is looking to pick up their child prior to this time, they are to have their child drop off a note to the Attendance Office indicating the time they are to be picked up. 11/29/21 – Why is the TI CONNECT CE App blocked on the chrome web store for chromebooks? Is it against the rules of Shen to have useful programs on your calculator? – Student
A. IMS had to remove the TI Connect CE App because we had a temporary license during the COVID-19 shutdown but we didn’t have it after June.
