Karigon held its 1st Black History Month Celebration on February 15th. This event highlighted music and education about significant historical events and figures.

Dr. Robinson joined us virtually to share his thoughts and provide inspiration.

Skano PE teacher and boys JV volleyball coach, Chad Hagner, joined the Varsity Volleyball team as they were honored at the State Capital for winning the State Championship.

Koda Student Council hosted its first ever Coco Loco Day.

All Koda students enjoyed hot cocoa with their friends while watching the movie, Coco, during lunch.

Karigon faculty and students were visited by the Shen Jazz band who performed a variety of songs from legendary African American Jazz musicians to help celebrate Black History Month.

Dr. Tammy Ellis-Robinson inspired Karigon 5th graders to write poetry and share their voices using the great Maya Angelou’s writing. You might see some of these authors and creators in the next Skribblers Magazine!

This week, the elementary schools celebrated Kindness. Skano 5th graders wrote kind messages to students in their class.

It was a wonderful celebration of how good it feels to be kind.

Students from the National Art Honor Society are displaying Winter themed art at the Clifton Park Library.

Students were inspired by the peacefulness of winter. The show runs until March 15, 2023.

Mrs. Schunk’s First Grade class celebrating the 100th day of school with a construction theme.

They made their way through 10 stations building to 100.

Congratulations to our Girls Varsity Alpine Ski Team who won the Section 2 Championship at West Mountain.

The Girls Alpine team will defend their state championship on February 27th and 28th at Bristol Mountain in Rochester, NY. Congrats to our skiers and coaches!
