Skano students participated in a puppet program from Puppets in Education to kick off our Kindness Week.

The program focused on the importance of being kind and how to spread kindness at home and at school. It was generously sponsored by Mohawk Chevrolet. We thank the Guelcher family for their support!

Mrs. Arnold’s 8th Grade students used their creativity to make unique posters about characters from the novel, The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton.

Shen robotics students take some time to demonstrate their skills, talents, and creativity to Senator Jim Tedisco.

2/7/23 Are absences due to state championship level sports competition excused if the sport is not affiliated with Shen? Student

A. In some cases it may depend on the details, but for the most part, contests that are not affiliated with Shen would not be considered excused.

2/7/23 Why are we paying our security offices to be at away games.. is it not the away schools job to pay for security ? Parent

A. We don’t pay security officers, we pay Chaperones to be present at all contests, home or away.

2/3/23 2 part report card question.. 1.) It looks like “achievement list” means an average of 85+ ..Does it have anything else(meaning) attached to it? 2.) Can u go over the meaning of the effort and conduct numbers given? – parent
