You are here: Home » » News » Is the district going to start looking at giving out tickets for graduation in future years as the classes are starting to grow? I have been to the 2016 and now the 2018 graduations and both times have been record breaking years. I was two hours early to find just 4 seats for my family and even left my other children home because I knew it was going to be hard to find seats. I was fighting for seats just for myself and husband to see OUR child graduate and there were people taping off WHOLE sections and rows for aunts, uncles, young cousins, and grandparents to see their child graduate. There were actual fights with people because of this. There should be rules with graduation about this and the school needs to place guidelines about this. Some parents had to sit on the lawn because of rude people taking 10 to 20 seats at a time. I told my family if they were coming they would sit on the lawn because I was not taking parent seats. Something really needs to be done!
A. There are currently no plans to require tickets for graduation.
