Shen middle school students competed in the Regional Mathcounts Competition at the GE Research Center in Niskayuna. The team from Acadia, consisting of Emily Liu, Henry Liu, Leo Yang and William Xu came in 1st place in the region! Emily Liu finished 1st overall as an individual and 1st in the Countdown round, William Xu placed 4th overall and 3rd in the Countdown Round, and Leo Yang placed 8th out of over 115 students. Cindy Hu from Gowana placed 7th overall and came in 2nd place in the Countdown round, Bhuvika Kodali from Koda finished 10th overall and Karen Jia from Koda finished 13th! Congratulations to all who participated!
