Families from Orenda and Karigon celebrated the diverse cultural background in our schools with food, table displays, traditional clothes and dancing at our Third Annual Multicultural Potluck Dinner.

Families from Orenda and Karigon celebrated the diverse cultural background in our schools with food, table displays, traditional clothes and dancing at our Third Annual Multicultural Potluck Dinner. Over 250 parents, students and teachers gathered to feast together and enjoy traditional Bhangra dances from Northern India performed by the Union College Bhangra Club. 

Acadia Pack Leaders are students who are role models for their peers and are a positive force in the school environment. Students were presented with a certificate and also received a lunch provided by an outside restaurant. These are the Acadia recipients for quarter 2.

Students at HSE had unique, cultural experience by attending a performance by Saakumu Dance Troupe! Based out of Medie, Ghana, the troupe is dedicated to introducing audiences to traditional and contemporary West African dance and music.

Mr. Symonds 8th grade classes visited the house construction class at HSE to see the progress. They are currently completing a Trades in Construction unit and were measuring for square footage averages.
