Seven middle school FLL robotics teams competed at Gowana this past weekend in the Shen Spring Rumble! Ctrl+Alt+Elite and the Fireballs claimed top honors for robot performance. The Attachment Innovation Awards went to Data Deleted and System Hacked, while Execute File.win and the RoboSapiens took home the Mission Innovation Awards.

Mrs. Lass’ Shatekon FSD class participated in the annual Special Olympics “Young Athletes” event on Wednesday, June 11th at the Niskyuna Soccer Club. The joined other capital district elementary schools in a day filled with physical fitness and inclusion.

Students, families, and staff gathered for Acadia’s Student Recognition Breakfast to acknowledge students in the Howl of Fame and Leader of the Pack programs. This year a total of 175 kids were nominated to the Howl of Fame and another 16 received the Leader of the Pack award.

Karigon held its last Best Buddies event of the 2025-26 school year. Students had a ball spending time together doing crafts, dancing, rock climbing and enjoying some sweet treats together.
