The Shenendehowa Latin teachers, Magistra J. Armstrong, Magistra K. Armstrong, Magister Breitweiser, and Magistra Griswold, led a group of 40 Latin students on an 8-day trip throughout Greece. Students visited archaeological sites such as the Acropolis with the Parthenon and the Agora in Athens, the site of Delphi, the site of ancient Olympia, the theater at Epidaurus, the ancient site of Mycenae, and the temple of Poseidon at Sounion. Students also were able to visit several museums and several modern sites in Greece as well where they learned about the connections between ancient Greece and ancient Rome.
